Austin's doing pretty good. After researching a lot about different types of seizures, it doesn't seem to me that he's having absence seizures. They are described as staring spells, and his are more like actual seizures that only last a second. He's still having them daily.
He had to get blood drawn on Monday, and it was a NIGHTMARE, for him and for me. He has to do it again on Wednesday. Dr. Shepherd called yesterday and increased the dosage of his medication. Hope that helps!
On the 19th, we're meeting with Dr. Cardenas, a neurologist in NP, to talk about the results of the EEG, and what kind of seizures he's having. We'll know a lot more details after we've talked with him. Until then...keep praying! Thanks!
