Jeff and I went to Oregon & Washington with Ryan & Jane during fair week to visit friends, Micah & Allie in Bellingham, WA. We had a great time! We drove the roughly 3,000 mile round trip, spending more than 50 hours on the road! Washington & Oregon are absolutely beautiful! We even got our fair fix at the Northwest Washington Fair! It was impressive! You'll never guess who was performing at one of the concerts...Ted Nugent! And it happened to be the night we were there! (For those of you who don't know, Nugent was at our fair 3 days later.) Jeff was wearing his Husker hat, and we met a family originally from Nebraska, with kids the same age as ours, born in the same month! We had a nice chat with them! What a small world! We ended up coming home a day earlier, so I was still able to go the parade and take the kids to the fair for a day. Honestly, one day was PLENTLY! After being in Washington where the temp was in the mid 70s, trying to handle the 100+ temps wasn't too easy!
