Austin Update

Many of you have been asking how Austin is doing. Unfortunately, he's still having many drop seizures daily. We're still trying to adjust his meds, but it's not looking very promising. We've had an overwhelming number of people tell us they're praying for him. We really appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. It's very comforting to know so many people care! Please continue to pray. When the Lord is ready, he will answer!

I had mentioned the other day that Austin had fallen during a seizure and hit his nose. The day got worse, and he had drop, myoclonic, and absence seizures almost constantly. We had to give him valium, which most of you know is a muscle relaxer. Thankfully it stopped the seizures, but he sure didn't relax! He was super hyper and bouncing off the walls for the rest of the day, (and part of the night!) Fortunately, he has since not had any days like that.

His nose looked absolutely HORRIBLE! He has an awful scab and it's still bruised up pretty good. The problem is he keeps hitting it when he falls. He had a bloody nose at preschool two days in a row.
The day it happened.
