Austin's had a bit of a cold this week with a nose like a faucet. His cough was horrible last night and we've been giving him breathing treatments since yesterday. Around 1am, I noticed he was having chest retractions. He was hospitalized last year around this time for the same thing. I called the hospital and they said to bring him in just to be safe. His lungs were a littly "sqeeky," but not bad. They gave him a steroid breathing treatment and some antibiotics, gave us a perscription and some samples, AND SENT US HOME! YEAH! Austin was so excited he didn't have to get poked! The hospital has seemed like a second home to us lately. :( He's still having retractions, but his oxygen level is good.
