Austin had three more grand mal seizures in the middle of the night. The 3rd we took him to the ER because it lasted a little over 5 minutes. They gave him anti-seizure meds which pretty much knocked him out. His white blood cell count was high, so they think he may be fighting off an infection. He had another seizure after we got home, but hasn't had any since. The meds they have him on are pretty strong, and keep him pretty sedated. He honestly acts like he's drunk, slurring difficult speech, BARELY walking on his own, etc. They're going to keep him on these meds for the next couple of days to protect him while his body is fighting the infection. Please pray that we can resume normal life after taking him off the meds! I really don't think it has much to do with the diet but his neuro is reevaluating it. Thanks for your prayers, we need all we can get. We wish we knew God's Plan, but we trust in Him to get us through this.
