Nothing Better than the Fair

We have no complaints about this year's Chase County Fair. We were there from Wednesday to Saturday and loved every minute of it! The carnival was excellent this year and Aust was a riding fool. He even went on the Super Shot a few times and loved Zero Gravity and Cliff Hanger. I can't believe he's so grown up. The Super Shot was definitely my fave! All 4 of us had mega ride passes this year so we had an extra good time. It's always great to see friends and catch up. Fair is literally my favorite time of the year. Even when I'm dog tired I don't want to go home because I want to take it all in. Love it love it love it. Austin definitely shares my passion, Jeff not so much. :) Marlin & Gloria came down on Saturday and watched the kids on Saturday night. Jeff and I enjoyed the time to ourselves. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Lutz!

The parade was a little tough at first as Austin had a very difficult time with the whole candy thing. But I just told him to catch candy for daddy and he had a great time. Something tells me that even if he could eat candy it still would be in the same place it is now. :) Aust rode on the Fireman's Auxiliary float and I walked alongside it. I don't think I EVER sat down on Saturday. I helped take over the dance competition for a friend so that was a little stressful but everything worked out great. On Sunday Tayvin and I slept until noon! Wow, it was a LONG week, but a great one at that!
