I am planning on applying for a elementary teaching opening for next school year. My original plan was to take another year off but I will apply and put it in God's hands.
Austin is really progressing in school. We had a parent teacher conference a couple weeks ago and received a great report! He's doing an AWESOME job of sounding out letters and learning to read. He's enjoying gymnastics and is looking forward to t-ball this summer. We recently discovered a boy his age who lives directly behind us. They've spent many hours together and it's been so nice having someone for him to play with.
3-yr-old Princess Tayvin is as dramatic as ever, and she always keeps us laughing. Her Cinderella dress and glass slippers are her daily wear of choice, despite the fact she has blisters from the shoes. We are taking a Mommy & Me swim class at the Rec Center and she loves it. She also started "nastics" (gymnastics) last month and looks forward to it every week. We recently started an alphabet preschool curriculum and we're having fun with that. We go to story hour at the library and play group at the church every week, (well almost every week. :)
Preslin is almost 3 months old now. Jeff is always surprised when he comes home at how much she's grown in just a week. She is the most laid-back and enjoyable baby. She's always laughing and smiling, especially at her big brother.
