A past classmate emailed me last night to inform me our past teacher had been killed by a drunk driver in a pedestrian-car accident. She was only 28. It was the driver's 4th DUI offense.
I took Biology from Kasey in 2005. She was an awesome teacher! I actually enjoyed a science class. :) She has a daughter the same age as Austin, and has since had another daughter.
My heart just aches for her family. Her little girls now have to grow up without their mother. How tragic and heartbreaking.
