Friday was my last day student teaching...and a day I will NEVER forget. The school announced a code black. Fortunately, I had just finished an assignment for school in which I had to answer a series of questions about the school's policies and procedures. One of those questions was, "What is the procedure for a lock down?" so I knew step for step exactly what I was supposed to do. UNfortunately, there was some miscommunication so it didn't go as smoothly as one would hope. It ended up being a bomb threat (not credible of course,) but the whole experience was a little scary none the less. For details, call or email.
