The Healthy One is Sick!

Let's face it, Austin hasn't exactly had the healthiest life, but we thank the Lord every day that for the most part he is now a healthy boy. He had jaundice at birth, RSV when he was 4 months old, hospitalized for a lung infection when he was 2, and epilepsy at 3. Not to mention SEVERAL trips to the ER for related incidents. WHOA!

Tayvin on the other hand, has been our healthy child. A little jaundice at birth and allergies during her first year but nothing too serious. Well she woke up with a fever on Tuesday night, add vomiting, add chest congestion, add coughing, add chest retractions. To the doctor we went yesterday, getting chest x-rays and blood work. They discovered she has RSV. GREAT... They decided not to admit her, thank heavens, but we have to go back tomorrow for a follow up. The only thing Doc prescribed was breathing treatments for now. As our luck would have it a piece on our nebulizer broke. Fortunately Apria Healthcare is delivering a new one today. So we'll have this little girl better in no time!
